Many of my clients are adults who grew up with emotionally unavailable parents. They were often raised in homes where love felt conditional and emotional needs were dismissed. Now as adults, they continue to carry invisible weights- chronic self-doubt, a harsh inner critic, or a sense of disconnection in their relationships.
As a second-generation immigrant, I understand what it’s like to grow up between two cultures- trying to meet your parents’ expectations while figuring out your own path in a world they didn’t always understand.
